Building a stronger, more vibrant Meagher County—together.

Welcome to the Meagher County Community Foundation

Strong Community & Powerful Impact

The Meagher County Community Foundation was created to help build and strengthen community and bring together people and organizations that want to make a positive impact in Meagher County. Your gift is used to create lasting support for Meagher County today and for years to come. Whether you’re a donor, nonprofit, local business, or new to the area, you’re invited to be part of a growing network of people who care deeply about our community’s future.

The second photo shows yellow flowers with green leaves in a field, with a bee on one of the flowers. The third photo depicts purple and green flowering plants with a blurred background of a field.

What We Do

Fiscal Sponsorships

We offer a place for charitable projects to operate under our 501(c)(3) status, providing support, building community and allowing new projects to operate without the responsibility of creating their own independent non-profit.

Support Local Organizations and Volunteers

We sponsor various grant programs to benefit local nonprofits, schools, and community projects. We additionally coordinate events to recognize and honor local volunteers.

Connect Donors with Causes

We partner with individuals, families, and businesses to establish charitable funds that align with donor interests while supporting long-term community projects and initiatives within the county.

Have a future goal of managing and Growing Assets

We have the resources to have charitable assets professionally managed, often as endowments—meaning the principal is invested and only a portion of the earnings are granted out each year, ensuring long-term impact.

Act as a Civic Leader

We collaborate with other community members and stakeholders to strengthen the community through sharing resources, working across sectors, and addressing community needs.

Making a Difference Together

Since our founding in 2000, MCCF has been dedicated to one simple belief: when a community comes together, incredible things can happen. Over the years, we’ve helped lift up dozens of local projects—celebrating our volunteers, supporting neighbors in times of need, and strengthening the places where we gather, learn, and grow.

We do this by connecting people who care with the causes that matter most here at home. Through grants, fiscal sponsorships, and hands-on support, we help community-driven ideas take root and thrive. Our goal is long-term impact—a stronger, kinder, more vibrant Meagher County for everyone who lives here.

Community is much more than belonging to something;
it’s about doing something together that makes belonging matter.”
