Bringing Good Ideas to Life in Meagher County

The Meagher County Community Foundation exists to support people and projects that strengthen our local communities. If you have a project or program that serves Meagher County—and just need a little funding to make it happen—we encourage you to apply for a grant.

Whether it’s a youth program, community space improvement, educational opportunity, or something entirely new, we’re here to help turn local ideas into lasting impact.

Who Can Apply?

We welcome applications from:

  • Nonprofit organizations (501(c)(3) status not required)

  • Schools and educational programs

  • Local clubs or civic groups

  • Individuals leading charitable community projects

Projects must benefit people in Meagher County and align with MCCF’s mission to support a strong, vibrant, and connected community.

What We Fund

  • Historic preservation or beautification efforts

  • Emergency response and public safety

  • Grassroots initiatives that build community

  • Youth enrichment and education

  • Community events and cultural programs

  • Facility improvements or equipment needs

We prioritize projects that show clear community benefit, are realistic and well-planned and have additional support (volunteers, matching funds, etc.)

How To Apply:

  • The Community Grant program is available to nonprofits, individuals & other organizations that are seeking funds to start or support a project within Meagher County. The applicant must complete the online application and submit it by the deadline of 6/15/2026.

  • Fill out the Grant Application with your project details, budget, and timeline.

  • Applications for the Community Grant program are currently being accepted through June 15, 2026.

  • Our board reviews applications and selects recipients based on impact, feasibility, and alignment with our mission. You’ll be notified within 3 weeks of applying.
